learningaboutlove: A man and a woman worked at a preschool centre for many years together. The couple dated over several months and were deeply in love. The man was in love with the way the woman treated the kids, with a sweet and caring nature. And she thought it was adorable how he always played and had fun with the kids. The time had come once again when the children had to graduate preschool. It was always a sad day for the couple, but they threw a party for the nineteen children. They danced, had juice and cake, and played games. The kids finger-painted cute pictures for the couple, which made them smile. Later that day, the man suggested to play hide-and-seek, while the woman be the seeker. She closed her eyes, counted to fifty, and could hear the kids shuffle around the room. Once she reached fifty, she opened her eyes. The nineteen kids were not hiding. Instead, they were in a line, each holding up a block with the letters spelling out: “Will you marry me.” She smiled. The man cleared his throat behind her. She turned around to see him on one knee, holding a finger-painted sign saying “Please?”, with paint on the tip of his nose. She laughed and kept smiling. “You’re beautiful. Not just because of how gorgeous you are, but also because of the amazing soul you have. Each year, we watch kids grow up and leave us to a brighter future. I hope some day we can do the same with our own kids. I know these nineteen have to leave and we’ll miss them, but I promise you one thing… I’ll never leave you,” he pulled out a ring from his pocket, “Will you marry me… Please?”
